2009-04-11 07:30:00   Free Disaster Preparedness and Business Seminar from CoverYourAssets

Disaster Preparedness and Home Inventory will be the topics of discussion at a free seminar hosted by Cover Your Assets (www.itstime2cya.com) on Thursday April 30, at the Community Room @ Westfield North County Fair Mall. 272 East via Rancho Parkway, Escondido, Ca 92025. The event starts at 6:30 PM and will conclude promptly at 8:00 PM.

The seminar, featuring Rene’ Jones, Founder and President of Total Logistics Solutions, Inc. will present "DISASTER PREPARATION – Survival and Rescue skills, ” and “Business opportunities within the Disaster Preparedness Industry”. This will be an informative and lively discussion, providing answers to the questions:

•What steps you must take to prepare your family? How prepared do you want your family to be? Have you considered all the issues?

•Why you must have a home inventory prior to filing an insurance claim? National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), national survey revealed a significant lack of preparedness among consumers in documenting their belongings. Being prepared is no longer a choice and not just about insuring against loss.

•How to perform a Home Inventory? Among the 1,646 homes destroyed in 2007 firestorms, only 9 percent - 150 - have been rebuilt. Most property owners are still suffering the stress of insurance negotiations

•Learn About Home Inventory Business! This emerging market is underserved and offers an excellent opportunity to subsidize an income or provide a decent salary.

Attendees will learn how to gain control of this important topic; where to start, how to keep it simple and why being prepared for the next disaster is both important and strategic! So you can make critical decisions about how to protect your family’s physical and financial health.
The program is designed for the benefit of homeowners, business owners, renters or unemployed, entrepreneurs and individuals looking to earn extra income helping people prepare for the next local or national disaster.
